We are using the Mammut Double Lock Chainstitch Multi-Needle Sewing Machine VMK made by the company Stutznäcker Steppsysteme in combination with a Mattress Panel Sewing Unit made by the company Naehtec.

Production Possibilities

ergomed GmbH offers contracted manufacture of separable double layer covers (with zip all around) and of covers made from mattress ticking with zip on the face side.

Possible Pattern

As far as possible, all available four-needle patterns are feasible.

Fillings

Our machines mainly handle polyester fibre, Lyocell and polyester mixtures in grammages of 100 – 600 g/m².

The Material – Fascination of Foamed Plastic Material

Mattresses of foamed plastic material consist of a smooth plastic mass that is foamed. This material can very well adapt to the body shape. Due to its open structure, the raw material offers an optimal absorption of humidity. PUR-foams can be called to be very environmental-friendly because they offer several possibilities for recycling.

Viscoelastic mattresses of foams or viscoelastic mattress toppers adapt exactly to your body shape and convey the feeling of weightlessness.
Viscoelastic foam is a high-tech comfort material that has originally been developed for the American space program of the NASA to improve the seats and the protection against pressure in the space vehicles. Thanks to their outstanding pressure reducing characteristics, viscoelastic mattresses enable your body to rest in its natural relaxed position.

The Ergocheck – the exact measurement between body and the laying surface

ergomed is able to offer you a sleep system with optimal pressure distribution.
For the Ergocheck, a measuring mat with 684 measuring points (pressure sensors) is covered over the mattress. On a soft base, it will be possible to measure the bearing pressure on any position on the mattress You can check how the mattress adapts to your body. Here, quality will be visible!

The Ergocheck measurement is a display of the pressure distribution between the human body and the mattress that is easily to understand.
